Product Description:
Carbon Black, C.I. No. 77266 (Pigment Black 7), is a fine powder produced by the incomplete combustion of carbon-containing raw materials such as petroleum or coal tar. Composed primarily of elemental carbon, it also contains small amounts of oxygen, hydrogen, and sulfur.
It appears as a pure black, fine granular or powdered substance with an approximately spherical shape. Insoluble in water, acid, and alkali, it can burn in air to form carbon dioxide.
