Product Description:
Titanium dioxide(TiO₂),C.I. No.77891(Pigment White 6), is currently the most outstanding and most widely used white pigment. Industrially, it mainly exists in two crystal forms: Rutile and Anatase.
Both belong to the tetragonal crystal system, but their atomic arrangements differ, resulting in significant variations in physical and chemical properties and application scenarios.
Product Application:
Paints:
Paints made with titanium dioxide feature brilliant color, high hiding power, strong tinting strength, low consumption, and a wide variety. They protect the stability of the medium, enhance the mechanical strength and adhesion of the film, prevent cracking, block UV rays and moisture, and thus prolong the service life of the coating.
Plastic:
Adding titanium dioxide to plastics can improve their heat resistance, and lightfastness, enhance their physical and chemical properties, increase mechanical strength, and extend service life.
Paper:
Incorporating titanium dioxide into paper gives it excellent whiteness, a high gloss, good strength, a thin and smooth finish, non-penetration during printing, and a lighter basis weight.
Ink:
Inks containing titanium dioxide are durable and non-discoloring, exhibit excellent surface wetting, and disperse readily.
